The project is designed for Year 9 - 12 Students with an interest in media.
The project is made of a number of workshops that up to 20 students can work in a carousel or different students can be identified for different workshops. These include:

Where students will undertake digital photography and edit pictures in Photoshop and / or via publisher to create a promotional poster for AimHigher in the region. This artwork will also be used for a DVD cover.
PowerPoint PresentationWhere the students undertake a workshop in how to use PowerPoint and then how to effectively a commercially aware presentation about AimHigher in their area.
Leaflet DesignAgain using the relevant design the students will design and produce an informative leaflet either about AimHigher or about highlighting issues affecting educational progression within their authority. This mixes the use of written and visual info.
Newspaper ArticlesThe groups undertake an exercise of creating a front page for a\ newspaper attention is placed upon article structure , effective use of quotes and use of images.
This workshop offers students the chance to edit pre-filmed footage of AimHigher related activities and institutions within the area and create (script and act in) their own links to ultimately create their own publicity video for AimHigher in the region addressing common issues such as funding, leaving home, and any relevant social or cultural issues.
